About The Program

The Cross-Cultural Leadership Program is an annual cohort of students from different disciplines who come together to explore the relationship between culture and leadership. Participants enjoy hands-on training approach during a one-day fall retreat and evening seminars. The year concludes with a capstone experience, a spring immersion experience in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, LA.

• Students will explore the relationship between culture and leadership;
• Students will learn how culture affects leadership;
• Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture during the spring immersion project;
• Students will gain an understanding of different cultures through the experiences and stories of our guest speakers.

About Me

The Cross-Cultural Leadership Program at Central Washington University provides a small cohort of students the opportunity to explore the relationship between leadership and culture. The purpose of this program is to create better global leaders through evening seminars led by university faculty and staff and through an immersion experience in the spring.
